Wairopi Bridge at Wairopi spanning the Kumusi River
The Australian Army rebuilt the suspension bridge using the original pylons over the Kumusi River connecting the west bank and east bank relinking the Buna-Kokoda Road. At the center of the bridge is Australian Army Signalman John King, TX8612 from the 24th Line Section, 18th Lines of Communication Signals.
