Location
Lat 5° 49' 0S Long 144° 11' 60E  Ogelbeng is located in the Western Highlands Province in Papua New Guinea. Located to the south is Mount Hagen. Also known as Ogelbang.

Prewar
During the middle 1930s, Ogelbeng Lutheran mission station was established at this location.
