Known as Primorsky Krai is located in the Far East of Russia. Also known as Maritime Province or Maritime Territory. Alternate spelling Primorskiy Kray. In Russian spelled Примо́рский край. Borders the Sea of Japan, Manchuria (China) and North Korea.
Wartime History
On April 18, 1942 after the "Doolittle Raid" B-25B Mitchell 40-2242 force landed out of fuel 40 miles west of Vladivostok in Primorsky Krai.
