Wartime History
Japanese war correspondent. During World War II, he reported on the Japanese Navy aviation in China and the South Seas. He wrote news reports, took photographs and recorded 35mm cine film footage used in Nippon News newsreels.
Postwar
Yoshida survived the war. He authored Samurai Zerosen Kisha kamera ga toraeta zerosentai hiwa (Samurai journalist following Zeros Secret stories about Zeros captured by a camera) (1969) as his memoirs about the Pacific War. The footage he recorded for Nippon News is today owned by NHK that owns their copyright. His photograph collection was donated to Maru.
