In memory: Edward Maloney passed away on August 24, 2016
Edward "Ed" Maloney was the founder of the first private warbird museum in the country,
first opened in January, 1957 Planes of Fame Museum (The Air Museum). Among Maloney's many achievements, he restored the museum's A6M5 Zero to flying status, the only original in the world today with its orginal Sakae engine.
