Bodies of Brothers Killed in War Returned to Portage For Reburial
"The bodies of Cpl. Albert O. Odenthal, 28, and his brother Pfc Martin Odenthal, 23 were returned to Portage for reburial Thursday, June 24 [1948]. They are the former sons of Mr. and Mrs. Odenthal of 904 Railroad Street, Portage [PA].
Services will be held at the Trinity E. U. B. Church, Portage. Rev. C. T. Miller, officiating at 2:00 p. m. EST. Sunday, June 27 [1948].
Military rite will be conducted at Prospect Cemetery by the American Legion Post, with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Amvets Post participating. Arrangements for the funeral are under the direction of Edwin J. Badoux Funeral Home."
