Family History
Loon's father left war-torn China in the 1950's where his village was a battlefield. He was in communist site and they were fighting the Kuo-Ming-Tang , a lot of people die there. My father told me that there house were live by soldiers. The kuo-ming tang planes come to attack and strafing, soldiers bravely rushed out and fight with those planes, many were killed by the rear gunners. He observed many horrors, such as the deaths of hundreds soldiers on the battlefield and soldier committing suicide because can't go home for his sick mother, and a plane crashed in the jungle and bodies of crews hang on the trees. His father fled from China, and jumped a cargo ship in the harbor. Heavy sea washed out people on board , some missing in the sea, then they came to Singapore. From there his family moved to Malaysia.
