Peter Ording   Uman Island


Gun is connected by a tunnel k approximately 5' x 5' and 100 yards long.


The other gun connected at the end of the tunnel that was cut through rock.


Gun emplacements along the beaches typicality have a rear access through tunnels.

Dan Bailey and Ording
Dan Bailey and Peter Ording taking a coconut break. I remember being completely soaked from sweat after the long and rugged climb. A couple of (gracious) locals used machetes to cut a trail for us.


2' by 2' vertical shaft 20 - 25' long with a bent rebar wire ladder going down. The roots you see are from a giant mango tree growing on top the cave. This shaft is inside a cave entrance.
