Air World was first located at Wodonga in the
1970s (Wodonga is just across the border from Albury). The RAAF
Museum's Mosquito was based there before the museum moved to Wangaratta Airport. Drage's had a museum in Wodonga (across the Murray River from Albury) back in the 1970s, which was then shifted to Wangaratta and later known as "Air World".
The Air World collection featured some
very historic Pacific World War II aircraft. After closing many
of these were sold or relocated when the museum closed on January 23, 2002. The Air World facility
became Precision
Aerospace / Pacific Fighters Museum.
