Located
along Tokyo Bay, this museum is shaped like a ship. The museum's
exhibits are nearly all in Japanese, and deal with maritime
history, shipbuilding and all facets of Maritime Science. Although
its WWII collections are limited, it is still worthwhile.
The upstairs gallery includes large scale models of WWI
and WWII ships of the Imperial Japanese Navy, including a nearly
15' model of the super-battleship, Yamato, and other smaller models
of battleships and Mikasa, Mutsu and Myoko
