The Pearl Harbor National Museum includes the visitor center, two museums, and USS Arizona Memorial over the shipwreck of USS Arizona (BB-39). The museum details the history of the Japanese attack on December 7, 1941 and displays artifacts from USS Arizona and Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and Oahu with a video presentation before visitors take a U.S. Navy (UNS) launch across Pearl Harbor to the Arizona Memorial over the shipwreck of USS Arizona (BB-39). The museum is closed three days a year: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
