Opened in June 1991 as the El Toro Historical Center and Command Museum at MCAS El Toro. During 1988 renamed the Jay W. Hubbard Command Museum. In 1999 when MCAS El Toro closed, renamed Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum and moved to NAS Miramar. Aircraft in the collection related to World War II in the Pacific and the Korean War include:
