This museum includes a Main Exhibition Gallery, detailing the Purple Heart Medal and America's conflicts from the Revolutionary War to present day. During World War II 1941-1945,there were 671,846 Wounded in Action.

The museum also maintains a roll of honor for all Purple Heart recipients, that relatives or those who earned the Purple Heart can provide data to be added.
