The mission of the West Point Museum is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret historically significant artifacts pertaining to the United States Military Academy, United States Army and the Profession of Arms.
This museum contains many items related to the Pacific War, including a replica of the Atomic bomb dropped over Nagasaki, one of the green safety plugs from the Nagisaki bomb, The museum displays the sword of Japanese Army General Tomoyuki Yamashita when he surrender 1945 in the Philippines.
