Ship History Launched as Sir Dudley De Chair and operated as a coastal steamer off Australia. Wartime History During December 1940, commissioned into Royal Australian Navy (RAN) service as auxiliary minesweeper HMAS Terka (TR). The forward mast was removed and a 12 pounder gun installed at the bow. Operated off the coast of Queensland, Northern Territory and New Guinea. Later, used as water carrier and store ship.
