IJN
Picket

Ship History
Sunk off Eller Island. Likely, this vessel is the Kikyo Maru a 274 ton picket boat. roughly 500 yards to the north is another unknown Shipwreck (Meiho Maru).

Shipwreck
Appears to be a converted sub-chaser or large picket boat lying on its starboard side. The ship is at a steep angle with the bow at 15' and stern at 55'. There are open compartments, and the interior of the vessel has yielded china, bottles, and a telegraph. The ship is in poor shape due to intense wave action. A deck gun is mounted on the stern.
