Sinking History
On February 16, 1944 while in Truk Lagoon attacked by USS Enterprise and USS Yorktown. Sunk by several direct bomb hits.

Shipwreck
Know locally as the "Oil Slick Ship" because fuel still leaks from shipwreck.
The water is murky and there is little marine growth on the ship. It takes several dives to see all of this wreck. The starboard side of the ship is only 40' underwater. The freighter is laying on its port side on a 120' bottom.

Hold No. 2 has large drums and two bicycles and spare propeller blades. A large hole 30 foot is found in the second hold. In the forecastle are a dozen ship lanterns. The lower deck contains pots, pans and human remains. Empty gun platforms and a torpedo launcher are aft.
