Sinking History On February 17, 1944 in Truk Lagoon sunk by U.S. Navy (USN) SBD Dauntless dive bombers from USS Enterprise. Shipwreck In 1980, discovered in Truk Lagoon at a depth of 150' upright on the seafloor. No.1 hold has two flatbed trucks with cranes, only their frames remain. Two anti-aircraft guns are near the damaged smokestack. The No. 3 aft hold contains oil drums. At the stern is a 3" gun. Contribute
