Sinking History
On February 17, 1944 attacked by SBD Dauntless from USS Yorktown CV-10. Hit by a bomb and blow apart by the resulting explosion, sinking into Truk Lagoon.

Shipwreck
Discovered in 1973, then lost and rediscovered in 1978 on the 140' bottom. Lots of oil and gasoline with caustic effects on divers still exists on this wreck. The wreck is quite mangled.
