Ship History
Built by built by Walter Butler Shipbuilders Inc. in Duluth, Minnesota. Laid down as a Type C1 Ship C1-M-AV1. Launched June 12, 1944 as USS USS Elmer J. Burr named for 1st Sgt Elmer J. Burr who earned the Medal of Honor, posthumously. Postwar, renamed Crown Reefer.

Fate
During 1946 sold for scrap and broken up.
