Drawing "There is a port of no return"
Depicts Captain John P. Cromwell who decided to go down with USS Sculpin (SS-191) after he opened the vents to scuttle the damaged submarine. He chose to go down with the damaged submarine because he possessed vital information concerning the upcoming assaults in the Gilbert Islands and was aware of ULTRA intelligence. For his actions, he earned the Medal of Honor posthumously.
