Tank History Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) as Type 97 Chi-Ha Medium Tank. Wartime History Assigned to the 9th Tank Regiment and shipped to Manchuria. During April 1944 shipped to Saipan. During June 1944, disabled during the Battle of Saipan and abandoned. Wreckage This tank is displayed at Banadero on the north coast of Saipan.
