Background
Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) No. 332 Radar Station (332 RS) operated radar stations in the South West Pacific Area (SWPA) during World War II.

Wartime History
On February 24, 1944 332 Radar Station (332 RS) arrived at Sio on the north coast of New Guinea and operated a radar at this location until late March 1945 then moved to Madang.

On March 22, 1945 Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) 332 Radar Station (332 RS) arrived on Kranket Island inside Madang Harbor and operated a radar until the end of the Pacific War.
