Aircraft History Built by Douglas Aircraft Company at Long Beach. Constructors Number 5952. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as A-20B Havoc serial number 41-3622. Ferried across the United States and Canada to Alaska as part of lend-lease to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Wartime History Assigned to the Voenno-Vozdushnye Sily (VSS) and flown via the Alaska-Siberia (ALSIB) air route. Mission History This A-20 crashed in Siberia in Russia. Wreckage The tail section of this aircraft remains in situ with the tail number visible.
