Eliot Young caption, from letter to his wife: "Here we are at the nose of the plane being helped around to the side to be picked up.  The chap leaning over in the lower left hand corner is the pilot of the plane, he’s curious as to what he picked up.  He, by the way, is one of the chaps coming to the U.S. for a plane to fly back.  I’m at the left in the raft.”
