Aircraft History Built by Douglas Aircraft Company. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as A-20G-30 Havoc serial number 43-9468. Disassembled and shipped overseas to the South West Pacific Area (SWPA) and reassembled. Wartime History On March 6, 1944 assigned to the 3rd Bombardment Group (3rd BG), 8th Bombardment Squadron (8th BS). No known nickname or nose art. Tail code P. On April 5, 1944, flew a combat mission against Hollandia. Afterwards, flew combat missions until the end of September 1944. On October 1, 1944 damaged or stricken off charge and written off. Wreckage This A-20 was abandoned in a boneyard on Morotai Island. This wreckage remained until at least 1948. Afterwards, scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
