During August 1942, crashed in the Milne Bay area.

Wreckage
ATIU memorandum No. 2, lists No. 646 as having been inspected by the advance echelon of technical inspectors of the 5th Air Force at Milne Bay in August 1942. This wreck is also noted as '"AD 11" in AAF, SWPA, Intel Sum 144. The code AD identified airplanes inspected by the Advance Echelon, Fifth Air Force. The code letters were followed by a number which identified an individual wreck.
