Richard L. Dunn has been researching and writing military history for forty years. His primary emphasis is the Pacific air war. His articles have appeared in scholarly journals and popular publications. His book Exploding Fuel Tanks is a unique contribution to the impact of aircraft protection on combat efficiency. He was the keynote speaker for General Walker Day in Roswell, New Mexico and lectured at the MacArthur Memorial, veterans associations and other groups.
