Attempted salvage from ballale center section of A6M3 Zero moved to Ballale beach awaiting salvage
Moved to the beach area by Craig Turner / Solomon Island Museum Project around December 2005, the salvage haulted by opposition from locals until Turner returned in November 2007. At the far right is the edge of G4M1 Betty fuselage.
