Former Rabaul POWs at Australian Army 2/8th General Hospital at Jacquinot Bay
After being liberated transported by HMAS Vendetta (D69) to Jacquinot Bay for medical treatment.
(Left) L/Bdr Charlie D. Newell of London, England, British Army 7th Coast surrendered February 15, 1942 at Singapore and became a Prisoner Of War (POW) until liberated on September 7, 1945 from Watom Island.
