Aerial view of B-17E 41-2446 force landed into Agaiambo Swamp in northern New Guinea
On February 23, 1942 returning low on fuel, B-17E 41-2446 force landed into the swamp and while skidding cut the swath into the kunai grass and skidded rotating to the right before coming to rest.
