Location Lat 9° 12′ S Long 148° 40′ E Agaiambo is a flat area of kunai grass and swamp inland from the north coast of New Guinea. Also known as the Agaiambo Swamp. The Yuripuri River runs to through the area north to south. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in Northern District of the Territory of Papua. Today located in Oro Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
