Enlargement of B-17F "I Dood It / Pluto" 41-24543 right side of nose parked at 7 Mile Drome near Port Moresby
The nose had a B-17E model nose cone added with a reinforced gun mount with a socket for a single forward firing .50 caliber machine gun. On the right side of the nose, Pluto had the outline of two puffs of air coming from its nostrils and a chain extending to the co-pilot's window on the right side of the nose. The dark rectangle of dark green or black paint covered the previous nickname "I Dood It".
