During late September 1942, while this B-24 and ferry crew were waiting for ten days at Amberley Field. this nose art was painted by tail gunner Jack R. Cantrell. The artwork depicts a black cat with a white face and fangs and claws extended atop an aerial bomb falling with motion lines extending behind.
