B-24J "Tuttle Money" 42-109968 destroyed at Wakde Airfield
During the night of June 6, 1944 a Japanese air raid by two G4M Betty destroyed six parked aircraft and damaged eighty others. In the background is another B-24 Liberator with tail marking with a white diagonal stripe and U.S. star and bar marking on the fuselage.
