Aircraft History
Built by Consolidated. Constructors Number 2833. Deilvered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as B-24J-25-CO Liberator serial number 42-73263. Also known as #263 for the last three digits of the serial number. Ferried overseas to the South Pacific (SOPAC).

Wartime History
Assigned to the 307th Bombardment Group (307th BG), 370th Bombardment Squadron (370th BS). Nicknamed "Babes In Arms" (with a single quotation mark around the name) and nose number 263 painted in white. On the right side of the nose was a scoreboard with bomb markings indicating bombing missions flown and a single Japanese rising sun flag indicating a claim by one of the gunners. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped.
