Aircraft History Built by Ford. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as B-24L-15-FO Liberator serial number 44-49845. Ferried overseas via Hickam Field then across the Pacific to the South Pacific (SoPAC). Wartime History Assigned to the 13th Air Force (13th AF), 5th Bombardment Group (5th BG) "Bomber Barons", 31st Bombardment Squadron (31st BS). Nicknamed "Lady Luck". Later, flown back to the United States. On October 24, 1945 flown to Kingman Airfield and placed into storage and later scrapped.
