The left side of the nose has the nickname "Lucky Star" with the nose art of a star with lines around it and trailing behind and into the nickname. The nose has a single .50 caliber machine gun in the center in a socket mount. The nose left side window has a single .30 caliber machine gun in a socket mount. Behind is the nose escape hatch. The bomb bay doors are open. The plane is parked under camouflage netting, reflected in the cockpit canopy. The photo caption strip at the bottom reads: "38BG - G-79 B-25 Bomber".
