Aircraft History Built by North American Aviation (NAA) at Air Force Plant NC at Fairfax Field near Kansas City, Kansas. Constructors Number 108-33529. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as B-25J-25/27-NC Mitchell serial number 44-30254. Postwar On October 25, 1951 delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) as B-25J Mitchell 5211. On November 7, 1961 stricken off charge and offered for sale. During 1965, sold to Cascade Drilling Co, Calgary, Alberta and registered as CF-MWC. In 1970, sold to Northwestern Air Lease, Edmonton, Alberta and used as a tanker until 1978. Then to G&M Aircraft Ltd, St. Alberta, Albert during 1981 as tanker number 2 (later number 337). In 1995, sold to Jeff Thomas / Vintage Wings / Air Station / Great Planes Air Museum of Arlington, WA and registered as N41123. On February 22, 1999, purchased by Paul Allen / Vulcan Warbirds, Inc. on May 12, 2004. Displayed at Flying Heritage Collection (FHC). Transported to Chino Airport to Aero Trader for restoration to wartime configuration and flying condition during 2001-2011. Display Afterwards, returned to Flying Heritage Collection (FHC). Painted in the marking of B-25J Mitchell Tail number A / 810 assigned to the 341st Bombardment Group, 490th Bombardment Squadron that operated in China Burma India (CBI).
