Aircraft History Built by North American Aviation (NAA) at Air Force Plant NC at Fairfax Field near Kansas City, Kansas. Constructors Number 108-33907. On March 29, 1945 delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as B-25J-30/32-NC Mitchell serial number 44-31032. Postwar This bomber was placed into storage until 1947 and assigned to Vance AFB as a trainer until it was dropped from the active inventory in March 1958. Converted to TB-25N and registered as N3174G. Used in the movie Catch-22. Afterwards at Yesterday's Air Force based at Chino Airfield. In 1982, the USAAF loaned the bomber to March Field Air Museum (March AFB Museum) where it was re-restored. The restoration was completed in 1988 and painted to represent B-25 "Problem Child" of the 13th Air Force, 42nd Bomb Group.
