Aircraft History Built by Martin in Baltimore, Maryland. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as B-26B Marauder serial number unknown. Wartime History Assigned to the 13th Air Force (13th AF), 42nd Bombardment Group (42nd BG), 69th Bombardment Squadron (69th BS). Nicknamed "Sea Bee III", after the loss of B-26B "Sea Bee" on April 21, 1943. This B-26 operated from Guadalcanal flying combat missions over the Solomon Islands.
