Aircraft History
Built by Boeing as the first XB-29 prototype built. Constructors Number 2482. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as XB-29 Superfortress serial number 41-002. On September 21, 1942 took off on the first flight of the XB-29 Superfortress. On May 11, 1948 scrapped.
