Aircraft History Built by Bristol in the United Kingdom. Assigned Royal Air Force (RAF) serial number T5001. Disassembled and shipped as cargo from the United Kingdom to Australia. Wartime History During May 1943 assigned to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Beaufighter Mark Ic serial number A19-37. On May 11, 1943 assigned to 1 Air Depot (1 AD). On July 6, 1942 assigned to No. 30 Squadron coded "T" and based at Wards Drome (5 Mile) near Port Moresby. On April 12, 1943, this Beaufighter was damaged on the ground at Wards Drome by bomb shrapnel. On May 17 to 15 ARD. On June 6, 1943 converted to components. Ultimate fate unknown likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
