Built by the Department of Aircraft Production (DAP) at Fishermans Bend in Melbourne.

Wartime History
Delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Beaufort Mark VIII serial number A9-277. Assigned to 32 Squadron. Next, assigned 7 Squadron and later 100 Squadron operating in New Guinea. No known nickname or nose art. During August 1944, converted to components and abandoned at Tadji Airfield.

This Beaufort remains in situ at at Tadji Airfield. During 1974, only the rear fuselage remained.
