Built by the Department of Aircraft Production (DAP) at Fishermans Bend in Melbourne. Delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Beaufort Mark VIII serial number A9-277.

Wartime History
Assigned to No. 32 Squadron. Next, assigned No. 7 Squadron. Later, assigned to No. 100 Squadron with code QH-? (single letter unknown). No known nickname or nose art. During August 1944 converted to components and abandoned at Tadji Airfield.

Wreckage
This Beaufort remains in situ at at Tadji Airfield. During 1974, only the rear fuselage remained.
