Aircraft History
Built by Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC). Constructors number 988. Assigned to the RAAF during December 1943. Assigned to 83 Squadron and coded "D".

Postwar
Written off during May 1946 and stricken from charge during November 1948.

Restoration & Storage
The fuselage was restored to static condition by Ralph Cusack.

Later, it was purchased by Robert Grienert who sold / traded it to Kermit Weeks and transported to the United States. Today, at Fantasy of Flight in off site storage.
