Aircraft History Built by Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC). Assigned to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), serial number unknown. Possibly, this aircraft was Boomerang A46-53 that ground looped January 10, 1944. Wartime History Abandoned at Vivigani Airfield on Goodenough Island. Wreckage Until 1999, Boomerang wings remained in situ. The wings did not have any markings linking them to a specific aircraft. Salvage During 1999, this Boomerang was salvaged by Robert Greinert / HARS and shipped to Sydney where it was placed into storage. Location today unknown. Contribute
