C-47A Skytrain 42-23700 force landed near Terapo
The tail with 223 [first digits of the tail serial number 223700] leading edge damaged from an accidental collision with C-47 #168 from the 21st Troop Carrier Squadron (21st TCS). A parachute is laid across the fuselage partially covering the U.S. Star and bar insignia to mark the downed plane. Beyond is kunai grass that is taller than the plane.
