Aircraft History Built by Aichi at Watanabe Iron Works. True serial number unknown. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as Type 0 Reconnaissance Seaplane / E13A1 Reisen Shiki Sui Tei (Jake) manufacture number unknown. Wartime History Assigned to an unknown Kōkūtai (Air Group) or warship. This Jake ditched or sunk at Lindenhafen Seaplane Base off Lindenhafen. Wreckage This Jake is upside down with one float is missing with two bombs inside the bomb bay. During 1985, villagers reported this aircraft to Rod Pearce who identified it as a Jake and removed the rear flexible 20mm cannon.
