FG-1A Corsair 14417 piloted by 1st Lt. Moszek "Mike / Murray" Zanger crash site on New Britain
After an aerial collision, pilot Zanger bailed out and his Corsair crashed near the Vudal River. Posing with the tail wreckage is (left to right) Justin Taylan, Henry Sakaida, Andrea Jacobs Talbutt, Marcy Hanigan and Susan Nishihira (nieces of Zanger) plus members of the Vudal village community who supported the visit and helped to identify the wreckage as FG-1A Corsair 14417.
