Aircraft History Built by Nakajima or Mitsubishi. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as Type 96 Land Based Attack Bomber Rikko / G3M Nell manufacture number unknown. Wartime History Assigned to 762 Kōkūtai or 765 Kōkūtai with tail code 702 (-03) with a kikusuki (chrysanthemum moon) emblem above. During 1945, ths Nell was used to fly transport missions to Okinawa. This Nell crashed or was abandoned on Okinawa. Wreckage During April 1945, this Nell was captured by U.S. forces and photographed.
